Chapter 3.7

I have decided to pull this save out and dust it off. It has been five months since I played this family. I think my problem is that it is only Maddy and her family and not the whole family since the beginning. I am bound and determined to get through this generation and get this family going again. I miss them. I thought about starting a new ISBI but really don't want to, I just want to get back into these guys.

I had to move them again from Moonlight Falls to.... Moonlight Falls. I have never played this world besides with these guys so not sure if it is a normal laggy world. My M.F.'s was horrible though so I just am trying to start a new one. I also gave the family a makeover hoping this will peek my interested again.

We start off with Janelle's birthday. Maddy tries to suffocate her before she can even age up.

I'm not sure where the brown hair comes from, I'm going to blame it one Basil's side of the family lol. She's cute though.

Really attractive Maddy!
Maddy: Hey, I've been married to Basil for a million years now, I think I can burp in front of him.
Basil: Not saying anything, I know what is good for me. 

 Madeline gets a job in the science career. If you remember her LTW is Jack of All Trades - Reach level 5 in 4 different careers. We haven't even done one yet.

Maddy starts working on her logic skills with Basil, hoping she can move up that ladder quickly. Not sure what Basil is doing, maybe trying to cast  a spell on the chess pieces?

Jerikka reads a handiness book.

 While Jensen plays with his IF and Jenelle her new princess castle.

Maddy: I'm going to kick his ass. 
You said that last time and he won.
Maddy: This time for sure. 

 She didn't win, again. 

Not even a sim day in and the lag was back in full force. I don't know if it is because the sims are corrupt from moving them, the world is that laggy or my computer just doesn't like them.  I do know when I play in other worlds this doesn't happen, so I am doing a total redo of the family. Saving them in CAS and then deleting their world and save and starting over. This will cause aging to go back down, skills to be lost, and for them to be broke again, but hopefully they will be playable. This was another reason I stopped playing this family. I am bound and determined to save them though. Scoring I am carrying on as this isn't really starting over. I am also going to take out some of the CC I downloaded recently and see if that helps. I might be over pushing my computer just a tiny bit.

Sunset Valley is our new destination. I know that one doesn't lag so hopefully this will work. The house is small and not very great but it works for now. I don't mind the outside so much but am not a fan at all of the inside. It's all they could afford though and it left them with $82 in the bank. Someone needs a job!

 Maddy: It's ugly.
I know, it will get better. I just did a quick build to see if this worked.
Maddy: I miss my big house. We only have one toilet now! 
Make some money, you'll get more.

They really only had the basics. No T.V., one bathroom and I didn't even bother matching stuff after the kid's rooms. I don't like how the kid's rooms are decorated but I didn't put much effort into any of it just in case it doesn't work.

Maddy: This place sucks! Literally our couch is made of crates! Right! Yeah I'm not too happy about it either. 
Who are you talking to? You don't know anyone yet.
Maddy: None of your business just go back to doing whatever it is you do. 

With no computer and I'd already cancelled the newspaper before they got it that morning, Maddy gets ready to head down to the Stadium to get her first job. Her wish, not mine.

All of a sudden I get a pop up saying 'Riding a broom is the only way to travel' so I click on Basil to find out where the hell he went off to. He headed to the fire station to slide down the pole.

Then I get one for Jensen, he had the same idea as his dad. Guess Maddy is not leaving to get a job yet.

Figuring I'd better check on Jerikka too, I find her at the park getting ready to play chess. Well at least they are all doing something and not sitting around looking like idiots. Not yet at least.

 With everyone out and Maddy stuck at home, she decides to teach Jenelle some skills.

Jensen: The fire monsters are going to get me! 

 Basil checks the stove at the fire house.

You do know you don't live here, right?
Basil: Jensen and I are moving in, there are more things to do then at that crap shack. 
It's not that bad! I do miss the old house though. :(

Jenelle learns to walk and Maddy starts in on talking. Everyone is still out, so she is still stuck at home.

She gets talking down before anyone gets home. Onto potty training, which is completed too, no help from Basil.

Checking on our runaways again, I find Jensen setting booby traps for the firemen.

Jensen: *laughs* They are going to be so scared!
That's not nice, they try to keep the town safe.
Jensen: Pffft, a little heart racing will be good for them. 

What are you, a zombie now?
Jensen: I come to suck your brains. 
Eat... eat your brains, vampires suck.
Jensen: Oh yeah. 

Jerikka is home now, so no need to sim check.

Oops, forgot to feed her. This is why I never have high chairs in their homes!

You don't live here! Go home!
Jensen: Dad says we do now. I'm trying to sleep, leave me alone. 

Basil: This place has food, water, beds, entertainment. Why can't we live here? 
Go home.

Basil: I don't like your tone. I want to live here... period. 
Someone is getting testy. He knows I can't control him, doesn't mean Maddy can't.

Basil: I'm sorry, please don't tell her. 
Mhm, thought your attitude would change.

Basil heads home after that but Jensen stays to eat something. Where do the damn purple gloves keep coming from? I never put them on my sims and they always end up with them!

 Oh look, the straggler comes in at 11:56pm. Good thing he didn't get caught!

First night in Sunset Valley goes by without lag or fails. *knocks on wood* Let's hope the the issue is fixed.

Jerikka: You're going to get caught.
Jensen: Don't say anything and I won't. 

 Jensen wakes up the next morning as feisty as the night before, this time setting booby traps at the house.

Maddy takes off to go get a job before Basil can disappear again. Finally she gets her job.

You saw him set it and yet you fell for it.
Jerikka: I'm not all there in the head, remember.
Nice excuse but not true. You are a genius not insane. Yet.

Jensen goes to his first day of school, Jerikka skips hers. To play more chess at the park.

 Maddy tracks her down and yells at her to go to school.

Maddy: They are not minding one bit! 
I know.
Maddy: It's your fault for moving us! 
No, their true self are just finally coming out.
Maddy: Reset them, I liked them better when I didn't have to run all over town to find them! 

 On that note I will end this update. Connor Frio walked by and I realized I needed to rainbow up Sunset Valley. I started with the Alto's and then ended up having to start dinner. Hopefully this save will keep working good and I can get this family going again!
